Junior Neighbourhood Support
JNS 2010 started with classroom visits to talk about recognition of the NSW logo and a brief talk about what we stand for followed by discussions around Graffiti Vandalism and Fire Safety, children were encouraged to do something good for a neighbour a friend or a fellow student, awards were presented at Fruitvale and New Lynn primary by Sgt Grant Watson of New Lynn Police Station.
This term we will be presenting awards at Birdwood, Ranui, Prospect, Don Buck, West Harbour, Flanshaw, Henderson North, Fruitvale and New Lynn Primary.
I strongly encourage any parent or family member to take the chance to attend these assembles to watch the upcoming winners receive their award.
Building pride in our children who do great things is a reward in itself.
I look forward to our Big Day Out at the end of the year.
